James "Matthew" aka Admiral Destructo

Born on 6/3/03, Matthew was born 18 weeks early after being in the womb for 22 weeks and 5 days. Matthew is the youngest preemie to survive from Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis with a positive quality of life. He had a very tough road with many nights that the doctors did not think he would survive. At a total cost over 2 million, he had 5 surgeries, 6 cases of sepsis, 14 blood transfusions, and 112 days on a ventilator. Today, Matthew is a thriving, fun almost 3 year old. A walking miracle. Aidan Thomas aka Captain Destructo

Born on 5/8/05, Aidan was only 5 weeks early (gestation of 35 weeks). However, he caused all kinds of trouble while still inside of mommy. Before he was born, he endured contractions for 3 months while his mommy laid in a hospital bed. Luckily, mommy could endure all the medical stuff now and Aidan had little to no problems.
